Part 22 - Recovery and Failure (Chapter 44) โ Diagnosing crashes
Part 23 - Performance (Chapter 45) โ Why is my computer slow?
Part 30 - Troubleshooting (Chapter 52) โ Systematic approach
KEY FEATURES OF THIS COURSE
โ Textbook-style depth โ Each chapter is complete, not a summary
โ One folder per Part, one file per Chapter โ Navigate exactly like a bookshelf
โ Architecture diagrams โ See how components connect
โ Real mechanisms โ Understand HOW things work
โ Practical labs โ Hands-on exercises for every chapter
โ Complete chains โ See the full path from hardware to software
โ Knowledge checks โ Validate your understanding
โ Troubleshooting โ Real-world scenarios
TERMINOLOGY GLOSSARY
A complete glossary will be built as you progress through the course.
Chapter 4 โ Motherboard and Hardware Communication
Chapter 5 โ BIOS and UEFI
Chapter 6 โ Complete Boot Process
...through Chapter 80 (see the folders above or the Detailed Progress Tracker)
VAULT STRUCTURE
Every Part is a folder. Every Chapter is itself a folder inside its Part. Every Section (plus the Practical Lab and Knowledge Check) is its own file inside the chapter folder.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How long will this take?
A: ~60โ90 hours of reading + labs. Do one chapter per day for a comprehensive understanding.
Q: Can I skip chapters?
A: Chapters 1โ47 build sequentially. You can skip Chapters 48โ79 if you're not interested in kernel internals.
Q: Should I take notes?
A: Yes! The knowledge checks are designed to make you think. Write your own answers before revealing the key.
Q: Where's the rest of the course?
A: Chapters are being written sequentially. Every chapter already has its own file (in its Part folder) โ unwritten ones are marked ๐ก NOT STARTED and will be filled in in order.
Q: What if I don't understand something?
A: Go back and re-read the section. The diagrams and examples are designed to clarify. Each concept builds on earlier ones โ make sure you understand fundamentally, not just memorize.
